'03 Lincoln LS 3.9.The following warning lights are on: advancreac, ABS, and brake warning light. They came on at the same time a few months ago. Ford dealership service department said I need an ECU. $800+. 4 hours labor x $100. Should I look for one cheaper. Ebay showed different models for this car. How do I know which one to get. Or do I ignore the warning lights. 250000 miles.

With that mileage, a little black electrical tape over the lights would be in order.

Grandma's 1995 LTD has been doing the same thing for over 10 years. The HCU / ECU is more than the car is worth.

Eventually the bulbs will burn out, until then some black tape like KP suggested sounds like the best solution.
