I have seen this topic discussed before but did not read anything on bidirectionally control or, if the scanner could point out where the part is located.

So, three things I would like to see from a PC based scanner are

-bi direction control for testing things like evap soliniods and such.
-Voltage specs that a sensor should be putting out
-Component location. I do not have a subscription to Mitchel or alldata, if the scanner can provide a general
location where the part is before I start removing items from the engine, that would be great.
-If the pc scanner has the option of hooking up a secondary coil pickup module unit would be great
